Design Concept:
The design concept of the museum is an inspiration of the five pillars
of Islam, as prophet Muhammad peace pe upon him said "بني الإسلام على خمس"
which i used to create five main exhibitions of the museum and each exhibition
hall has a pentagon shape, which are displays the importance of the five pillars
of Islam and the story of prophet Muhammad peace pe upon him.

Islamic Museum in Mecca (Overview)
Sustainability Studies:
1- Optimizing use of the sun: by using the solar panels which transform the solar energy
to electrical energy, and creating courtyards and atrium that provide natural sun lighting.
2- Improving indoor air quality: by creating sky opening in the courtyard that open
automatically when the weather is suitable.
3- Protect and Conserve Water: by reusing the gray water system in garden watering.
4- Decrease the heat gain and resistant of moisture: by creating green roof which absorb
heat and decrease moisture and creating shading devices in the facade.
5- Using natural building materials in the contraction like: wood, Sustainable
Concrete,and Glazed reflect facade.
